November and Stuff....

I'll try and be as brief as possible.

Lot's of great things happening the last few months of 2011. I am currently working on a video I shot a few weeks ago. Something I was doing as a favor for a Director friend of mine turned into a job. Ain't life grand?

Just because. A shot I took this past summer.

I also have another job this month, I'll be meeting with the clients in a few weeks to discuss. Again life is wonderful. I can finally say I am a working freelance video editor. Still got my day job though.

In other news: For those that follow this blog regularly you know about my short film "Visions" It was a student film I shot back in 2007. I had major bumps along the way in production and post. Eventually in 2008 I lost one of the 2 master tapes. I lost all interest by then and finally just last year I had my good friend Brian cut it. He got very close to my edit, but I still wanted to do my own cut.

I cannot stress this enough, life right now is pretty f*cking great! Last night the lost tape was found, after 3 years.......FINALLY! I can do the Director's Cut that has been long overdue. Once I find the time I'll start to work on that. Look for it sometime in early 2012.

Other than that just keeping busy, with more work I hope. I've also been shooting alot of "test" video lately, mostly playing with light and seeing what kind of results I can achieve with little to no resources. I plan on investing in a DIY light kit soon. I'm really thinking this may eventually lead to a short before the end of the year. Stay tuned.

Also I'll be posting a small price list for my editing services very soon.

And that's not even the half of it. Jeez I may need an assistant soon. :p
