I'm Back........

Hello everyone, so it's been a while since my last blog entry. I've been busy editing my current short film "Eventuality". I have some great news, post-production finally wrapped at the end of February! After 4 months of post-production and going through so many different versions of the film I'm finally done! I have also screened the final cut to 5 people so far and all feedback has been very positive. They all loved it so I'm really excited to showcase this short to the rest of the world. Below is one of the final posters for the film.

I had intended to cut a trailer for the short but in the end decided not to. Reason being it's a short and in all honesty I just saw no point. I've settled with sticking with the teaser trailer and maybe update that trailer in the near future.

So far I've submitted to 3 festivals,The 4th Annual Fearless Film Festival in Fort Worth, TX. yourindiefilm.com, an online short film festival and The 7th Annual Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival. That's just the first batch of submissions as there are festivals going on throughout the entire year. Again really looking forward to finding out if I even get accepted and I will be keeping everyone posted on what's going on. I even have plans for a special edition DVD with loads of extras including a directors cut of the film.

In other news now that I can focus on new projects. Currently writing an as yet to be titled short film which again will be shot with no budget. I've actually decided to do something different with this. After the short script is complete I will get to work on a full length feature script. My plan is to shoot the short first and then attempt to gain interest with it in order to shoot the feature length. Let's hope all goes well, it's a very ambitious sci-fish thriller that is bound to turn heads.

Also I'm in talks to shoot the next episode of "GRAY". I met another fellow filmmaker who is a mutual friend of someone I know. I hope to meet with him very soon, it's been way to long (Dec. 2008) since we shot the last episode. Look for it sometime in the spring.

And lastly I now have time to finally work on my website and demo reel. First things first is my demo, this way I can get some interest and maybe even get some work out of it! That's all for now, until next time.
